Meet John McMillian on episode 4. John has been in the service industry for over 20 years. He got started while in college at a Denny’s looking to make extra cash. He has served, bartended, expoed, and is currently is in key management. John believes employees deserve more recognition for their good work and should be rewarded for their efforts.
On this episode meet Brian Steen. Brian has been in the service industry for 14 years and is currently a manager of a known, world wide, corporate restaurant. He started serving when he was in college, eventually moved behind the bar bartending, then began managing. Brian was also a corporate trainer, opening up locations nation wide. He offers great advice about the corporate structure.
On this episode you meet Jay Nieves. Jay has been in the service industry around 20 years and got started as a barback. He has worked in multiple states around the east coast doing multiple jobs in the industry and is now an assistant manager at a known gay sports bar in Philadelphia. He offers advice on bartending school. Jay was also a teacher at a local bartending school and he explains the difference he brought with him to his students.
